“It’s not easy building something for yourself, but we’re super happy with how it turned out. It’s a 4500 sq ft open concept home, with a large detached workshop. We handled every aspect of the project from design to finishing touches.”
We wanted a new larger space for our growing family and a destination for entertaining guests. This is our third home build for ourselves and we really focused on the details to make this our forever home. We used a combination of stone and modern features to create a more timeless design.
The house sits facing south for all-day sun on the 12 acre parcel, nestled among the cedars. The back of the house is mostly glass to allow for natural light and heat all day.
The main floor is mostly open concept however privacy is still available when needed. The large basement storey is cozy and warm with plenty of light as well.
